Leinster switch off comments on social media posts due to 'personal attacks on players and coaches'

"For the first time since 2015, we've turned comments off some of our posts on Leinster Rugby," said Marcus Ó Buachalla, Leinster Rugby's Media & Communications Manager.

Director of Rugby Leo Cullen was also alerted to the issue during the week before the unbeaten side defeated Bath to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions Cup.

"I would hate to see the reaction if we lost a game," added Ó Buachalla , in a post on 'X'.

"Or if our Head Coach didn't look after the wellbeing of players under his care in team selection."
