In a world where many of us are living away from home, it's bizarre phenomena like these that can bring people together and give us a sense of community.

For that, we salute you.

I'm referring to a bridge in the Drumcondra area of Dublin that became an unlikely internet sensation and the place to be.

RIP Cherry Tomato Bridge. You weren't with us for long, but you gave us something to talk about for a few days.
