John Gilligan back in prison over Spanish drugs investigation as associates join search for missing Belfast man
Briefly

Gilligan has been incarcerated at the high-security Fortcalent Prison since before Christmas, as he continues his attempt to raise the necessary funds for bail while the investigation proceeds.
Gilligan is not suspected of having anything to do with the disappearance of John George; his arrest is coincidental and followed a raid on a property where a large amount of synthetic cocaine was discovered.
Sources say that Gilligan is suspected of "street dealing" heroin, cocaine and pills and has been offering a delivery service to buyers who place an order with him.
John George was reported missing on December 18 after he failed to board his flight home from Spain. He had travelled to Spain three weeks earlier to visit friends.
