Lee expressed gratitude during his recovery, stating: 'Thank you again for all your concern. A quick update: back home recuperating... I'll probably talk in more detail about it later.'
In a text to friend DJ Ashba, Lee wrote, 'I am one lucky mother f**ker,' reflecting his perspective on surviving multiple gunshot wounds.
