Araqchi elaborated on Iran's stance regarding international relations, noting the cautious approach the country is taking. He mentioned, "We are still waiting for the new US administration to clarify its policies, and based on that, we will adjust our own policies. Right now, it is neither the time for such meetings nor is it appropriate," highlighting Iran's strategic patience in navigating future diplomacy.
Regarding Iran's nuclear program, Araqchi indicated that while there is a desire for diplomacy, the opportunity is quite limited. He stated, "There is still an opportunity for diplomacy, although this opportunity is not much; it is a limited opportunity," acknowledging the precarious situation with the IAEA and Western powers.
Araqchi emphasized that the 2015 nuclear deal's value has diminished for Iran, suggesting a recalibration of their approach towards future treaties and negotiations.
