According to US and European officials, India has surged to become the second-largest supplier of restricted technologies to Russia, exacerbating challenges in curbing exports fueling its military.
Data shows that India exported over $60 million in restricted technologies in both April and May, doubling previous figures and reaching $95 million in July.
The officials noted that approximately 20% of sensitive technology contributing to Russia's military efforts has been sourced from India, raising concerns among Ukraine's allies.
Despite concerns raised by Ukraine's allies, Indian officials have been unresponsive, leading to frustration as they navigate the complexities of international technology exports.
