The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes.
The ICC stated that there are reasonable grounds to believe Netanyahu and Gallant intentionally deprived Gaza civilians of essential sustenance like food, water, and medical supplies.
An arrest warrant has also been issued for Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif for crimes including murder, torture, and sexual violence related to the ongoing conflict.
ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan applied for these arrest warrants following the October 7 Hamas-led attack and Israel's ensuing military actions in Gaza.
