Meteorologists have predicted that Invest A95L could strengthen into a tropical depression or potentially Tropical Storm Nadine within the next 48 hours, with a chance of reaching Central America and Mexico this weekend. Conditions in the northwestern Caribbean are becoming more conducive for development as the storm moves north of Honduras, possibly resulting in heavy rains and flooding in the region.
Anthony Duarte, a meteorologist, emphasized that regardless of whether the storm intensifies, significant rainfall is anticipated across Central America, Belize, the Yucatan Peninsula, and southern Mexico over the weekend. He noted that the heavy rain could lead to dangerous mudslides in high terrain, highlighting the risks even if the system does not fully develop into a substantial storm.
