How to Recycle Electric Toothbrush Heads
Briefly

Electric toothbrush heads might be small, but they can make a big impact on our environment if not disposed of properly. Specialized recycling initiatives are available to responsibly recycle these items.
Whether you have a traditional toothbrush or an electric brush with replaceable heads, these materials must be separated before recycling to ensure they do not contaminate one another during processing.
The Oral-B Recycling Program accepts refill brush heads, plastic toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, and other oral care items, but does not accept toothbrush handles or electric toothbrush bodies.
The TerraCycle Oral Care Recycling Program is open to dental offices, allowing for recycling of toothpaste tubes, caps, and electric toothbrush heads. However, it's currently paused until January 2025.
