Optimum subscribers lost MSG Network after the cable provider's contract expired, as MSG Networks demanded high programming fees that could increase cable bills.

Current streaming alternatives for MSG Network include DIRECTV Stream and fuboTV, both of which offer free trials for new users.

For those outside the US, using a VPN can enable streaming of MSG Network and other content from familiar services while traveling.
