Haul out the holly! Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree arrives in New York City
Briefly

The 74-foot Norway spruce tree, donated by the Albert family from Massachusetts, is the first Rockefeller Center Christmas tree from the state since 1959.
Erik Pauze, the head gardener at Rockefeller Center, noted that the crowd for the tree's arrival was one of the biggest he'd ever seen, highlighting its significance.
The tree will be decorated with 5 miles of light strands and topped with a Swarovski star featuring 3 million crystals, symbolizing holiday spirit.
Once the holiday season ends, the tree will be repurposed into lumber for Habitat for Humanity, showcasing a commitment to sustainability.
