Google's Gemini chatbot now features a memory function capable of remembering personal details and preferences, enhancing interaction similar to ChatGPT’s memory system.
This feature allows Gemini to recall specific details, like a user's food preferences, providing tailored responses in future conversations, such as restaurant recommendations.
Currently, memory is available only to subscribers of Google’s $20-per-month Google One AI Premium plan and is exclusive to the web client.
While this memory feature is potentially useful, there are concerns regarding exploitation, as past incidents have shown vulnerabilities in memory systems like ChatGPT.
