Google has introduced a new feature that clarifies whether search results are personalized, allowing users to turn off personalization with a simple click.
With the new button at the bottom of search results, users can now see clear messaging—'Results are personalized - Try without personalization'—providing more transparency.
This update appears to be a response to user feedback regarding the increasingly personalized nature of search results, making it easier to control their search experience.
The added option utilizes the pws=0 parameter, which has been used for over a decade to disable personalization, reiterating Google’s commitment to user choice.
