In a comparative analysis, GenCast demonstrated greater accuracy than ENS by achieving a 97.2 percent success rate when forecasting weather data from 2019.
GenCast differs from earlier models by utilizing an ensemble of over 50 predictions to create a complex probability distribution of future weather scenarios.
