Google Maps' enhanced navigation will make sure you're in the right lane
Briefly

When enhanced navigation rolls out in November, the blue line on Google Maps will provide a visual of which lane you need to drive in to make your next turn, while the map might display crosswalks, signs, and lane restrictions. This feature aims to ease driving in unfamiliar areas and will be available on Android and iOS.
Google Maps is also rolling out an update to its "destination guidance" feature that highlights your destination, shows nearby parking lots, and provides walking directions to the front door of the building.
Additionally, Google Maps is expanding its reporting system to include adverse weather conditions affecting driving, like low visibility, fog, snow, unplowed roadways, or flooding, making navigation safer.
Google is also introducing more AI features to Maps to help find new places, while Waze is testing voice reporting for incidents, reflecting the industry’s push towards smarter navigation solutions.
