Reports indicate that manual penalties have predominantly targeted coupon-related sites, leading to significant drops in their search visibility across various countries, such as Italy and France. Industry members including Laura Chiocciora and Glenn Gabe have shared observations on social media about the significant impact of these actions, implying Google's enforcement against sites considered to exploit reputation abuses.

Laura Chiocciora first notified me of this on X and said, "Looks like Google is finally sending manual actions in Europe! Here's an example from Italy: all the whitelabel projects are now gone (except Ansa)."
Glenn Gabe commented on X, "Big news. Looks like manual actions have been applied in Europe for site reputation abuse (at least for coupons)."
