Gill Zhou, who has been managing director of Condé Nast China for just over two years, has stepped down, a move announced during a companywide meeting.
CM Liu, formerly managing director and publisher of Condé Nast Taiwan since 2013, has been appointed to oversee mainland China operations as the company looks for Zhou's successor.
Before her role at Condé Nast, Zhou accumulated nearly thirty years of experience with multinational firms. It included leading IBM Asia-Pacific's digital marketing transformations, proving her strategic acumen.
Zhou transformed her position into a social media personality on Xiaohongshu, where she gained significant followers through fashion-focused posts, showcasing the intersection of media and personal branding.
