Gardai keen to examine Tusla reports on missing schoolboy Kyran Durnin, who is feared murdered

The internal report on Kyran's education was one of two Tusla reports given to the Government last month amid public concern that the disappearance of a child could have gone unnoticed by the authorities for two years.

Kate Duggan told RTÉ: "What we know is that Kyran was in school in May 2022, and what we know is that we haven't received any referral of concern since then."

Detectives are trying to corroborate his presence at school through eyewitness evidence. A source said: "When you are asking people to remember a particular event on a particular day, it can be hard when that was two-and-a-half years ago."
