Date Everything! started as a humorous idea but evolved into a fully developed game with over 70,000 lines of dialogue and more than 100 dateable objects, showcasing creativity and quirkiness.
Robbie Daymond explained that the game's tone is focused on being wholesome and flirty, stating, 'We want to make something where you wouldn't be embarrassed if anybody walked in on you playing it.'
The unique characters in Date Everything! include a microwave who believes he's in an interdimensional war and a fratboy fireplace, emphasizing the game's distinctly quirky and humorous narrative.
The game also prioritizes fair compensation for its voice actors. Daymond highlighted their industry connections, saying, 'We were able to make a contract that gave residuals back to the actors who worked on it.'
