From jet parking to jostling for luxury hotels, billionaires can spend six figures at the Super Bowl
Briefly

Billionaires attending this year's Super Bowl in New Orleans face exorbitant costs due to limited luxury accommodations. Prices have escalated for hotel rooms, private jet parking, and event access. The average spend can reach $80,000 per person, excluding food and airfare, reflecting a growing trend where wealthier attendees prioritize exclusive experiences. With suites costing over $1 million and private jet parking fees hitting $3,000 per day, the Super Bowl has evolved into a week-long extravagant event. The demand for luxury services remains high as elite attendees compete to create the ultimate game-day experience.
"They want it done right, and they're willing to pay for it," Penner said of his clients.
Duane Penner, the vice president of sales at luxury sports travel company Roadtrips, told Business Insider that per-person costs can reach $80,000 for the weekend - not including airfares or food.
The Super Bowl always attracts swarms of billionaires and executives (in 2024, Elon Musk, Tim Cook, and Jack Dorsey were spotted), and last year's game in Las Vegas was the most expensive on record.
