Fortnite players tricked' into unwanted purchases are getting refunds. Here's how
Briefly

The FTC has started sending out refund checks as part of a $520 million settlement related to deceptive purchasing practices by Fortnite maker Epic Games.
Epic Games used deceptive online design tactics that led Fortnite players, including children, to make unintended purchases with just a single button press.
The settlement includes $275 million in fines for collecting personal information from children under 13, and $245 million is allocated for customer refunds.
Eligible consumers who were charged for unwanted in-game items or had their accounts locked after disputing charges can apply for refunds to recover their costs.
