Cork and Kerry are under a Status Yellow rain warning from 09:00 today until 09:00 Saturday, with localised flooding and poor visibility possible. Rain will extend northeast this morning and may turn heavy in places, with winds increasing to strong and gusty and gales likely on southern and eastern coasts. Rain will ease to scattered showers and brighter spells from the southwest later, with highs of 8–12°C (Ulster 6–9°C) and easing winds but some heavy showers remaining.
