Exclusive | The charming NYC home of the late Mica and Ahmet Ertegun has sold for $9.3M - just weeks before major Christie's auction
Briefly

The double-townhouse residence of the late jet-setting couple Mica and Ahmet Ertegun has sold for $9.3 million, with proceeds going to their charity.
Mica, a noted interior designer, died last December at age 97; Ahmet, co-founder of Atlantic Records, died in 2006 following a brain injury.
During their 45-year marriage, the Erteguns were known for hosting fabulous parties where art, politics, and music would collide, despite Ahmet's love affairs.
Christie’s is set to auction Mica’s collection in November, including a René Magritte painting estimated to fetch over $95 million.
