Ex-soldier Daniel Khalife, accused of helping Iran, wanted to be MI6 double agent'
Briefly

Prosecutor Mark Heywood KC stated that Khalife had actively sought a relationship with Iranian intelligence, aiming to present himself as an asset to Iran's external security.
Following his cash pickup from Iranian handlers, Khalife emailed MI6 expressing desire to work as a double agent, claiming the money was for sending a fake document.
The onus is on the jury to determine whether Khalife's intentions were truly to deceive Iranian intelligence or simply a ploy for self-preservation.
Pictures found on Khalife's iPhone revealed he had picked up money from Iranian contacts and taken selfies with the envelope tucked in a dog poo bag.
