Interpol and police in six European countries are now reopening investigations into the cases of 46 women who were murdered or died under suspicious circumstances, emphasizing the need for justice.
Jurgen Stock highlighted, 'Even the smallest piece of information can be vital in helping solve these cold cases...a memory, a tip, or a shared story could help uncover the truth.'
The campaign builds on Interpol's successful 2023 Identify Me appeal which brought in 1,800 public tips, resulting in the identification of a woman murdered 31 years ago in Belgium.
By pooling forensic resources like DNA profiling and facial reconstruction, police forces aim to strategically identify the 46 unidentified women across several European countries.
