A staff member voiced concerns, stating, "Homesdale is like a second home and the residents are like family. It's so sad to see them this way."
The Pilgrims' Friend Society acknowledged the situation, noting, "There are significant challenges on the site... a new building would be needed to replace the existing provision."
Stephen Hammersley, the society's chief executive, emphasized, "The wellbeing of people living and working with us is our primary concern... we will invest in providing the maximum support we can."
