"It was our second day of filming as well, and it was also December in Hungary. It was pretty brutal to be standing out in the freezing rain for hours, but it was necessary for the scene we were creating. The cold was tough, but it added a level of intensity and realism to the portrayal of Valya's journey."
"The crew was amazing. They make a hot tent, and they bring you tea, and a towel, and stuff. And when you're together it's fun, and you're just laughing like, 'Why are we doing this? This is crazy,' but then, when you’re by yourself, you’re just like, 'Why am I doing this? This is crazy.'"
"In the flashbacks that center on me, Valya is still doggedly climbing that ladder to achieve more power, which at one point involves this extremely intense scene outdoors. It’s exhilarating but also disorienting to be so exposed to the elements as we delve into the complexities of her character."
"Filming 'Dune: Prophecy' allowed me to explore themes of ambition and strength within Valya. Standing at the edge of a cliff, literally and metaphorically, was a powerful moment that reflected her struggle for authority and recognition in a male-dominated world."
