Mike Keen's two-month journey kayaking from Greenland's southernmost town to the northernmost town involved adopting a traditional Inuit diet, linked to the environment.
Keen swapped his usual meals for local foods like fermented seal blood, dried fish, whale skin, and boiled seal or whale stew, while foraging herbs.
The challenge started over a beer with a Greenlandic chef, leading Keen to kayak 3,000km to study the effects of an Inuit diet on health.
Through this adventure, he aimed to understand the impact of traditional hunter-gatherer diets on health, amidst a connection to the environment.
