Dongyou Corn Courier Station / SuiPingYiLi Architecture Studio
Briefly

The Corn Station is designed to merge the historic rammed-earth structure with modern steel, concrete, and wood elements, enhancing functionality and preserving local heritage.
This project not only serves as a logistical hub for corn, but also as a community space, supporting interaction and offering services like scientific research and tea breaks.
The spatial reorganization retains the rammed earth structure while introducing new systems that expand functionality, with spaces carefully structured for exhibitions, seminars, and relaxation.
Cohesive architectural form merges the old and new, featuring open areas for community engagement, scientific exploration, and casual interaction amidst a picturesque rural setting.
