Bradford Dickson, a member of the Crimson water polo team and a talented Berklee cellist, performed the national anthem at a women's senior day game, blending his two passions. Enrolled in the joint studies program, he expressed how these performances are special as they combine his love for friends, sport, and music. His journey began with violin but shifted to the cello, which he finds versatile and expressive. Currently an economics concentrator, he pursues graduate studies goals while taking music classes at Berklee.
Those are some of my favorite types of performances. I'm playing for all my best friends, and it brings together everything I love: the people I love, the sport I love, and the music I love - all in one.
It was awesome to watch Bradford bring his two passions together in the same place. He did a great job, and it showed how well-rounded he is as a student, athlete, and as a young man.
