Devastation as Staffie dog kills elderly man's 'lovely' Jack Russell in Charlton

The incident took place when a large dog escaped and attacked John Kane and his dog Daisy, who unfortunately died due to severe injuries sustained.
'My dad literally had to bring the dog home by himself. Daisy was obviously dead in his arms, and he had a serious hand injury.' Sean Kane.
In his victim impact statement, John Kane expressed how the physical injury has greatly affected his ability to perform daily tasks since it happened.
'Losing Daisy has made me more isolated as I no longer have a reason to walk and stay active...this has caused me to withdraw.' John Kane.
