Describing the attacker, Gupta said, "He was just very violently and very aggressively just pummeling the guy... this was vicious." This emphasizes the brutality of the incident.
The victim, who was unaware of the attack due to his deafness, communicated his fear to the flight crew through text messages saying, 'I'm so scared.'
