Iceland, dubbed 'The Land of Fire and Ice,' is a paradise for photographers due to its diverse landscapes, including black sand beaches, glaciers, and waterfalls. Swiss photographer Jennifer Esseiva recently visited the region on a 10-day trip, capturing its beauty under varied weather. Esseiva finds that cloudier, rainier conditions provide her photographs with an added depth and grandeur. Following her Iceland trip, she plans to visit Finnish Lapland in March, continuing her exploration of breathtaking landscapes.
"Where many prefer to travel in sunshine, I'm more interested in clouds and rain. I've always found that photographing landscapes in different weather conditions gives them another dimension, a unique grandeur."
