Days of torrential rain or even a tropical system are on tap for Florida
Briefly

The National Hurricane Center has increased the odds to 50% for a tropical depression or storm forming in the Gulf, warning Florida of an extended rain period.
Forecasters expect a complex weather system spanning several days, with increased rain chances starting Sunday, particularly south of I-4, and extending through much of the week.
The weather pattern features three merging systems over the Gulf, which will create a broad and disorganized disturbance but with substantial moisture, raising the risk of storms.
Despite the uncertainty in predictions due to the complex system, locals are advised to remain vigilant and prepared as significant weather could impact the Gulf coast soon.
