Counter-terrorism expert says we shouldn't be surprised by ramming attacks

BRANNAN: The pedestrian nature of what we're looking at really stands out to me. We've had close to 20 ramming attacks since 2006. In 2010, al-Qaida urged people to use vehicles as weapons, specifically naming the F-350.

BRANNAN: This is not something we should be surprised by. The calls for vehicle attacks have escalated since their inception, as seen in communications from groups like al-Qaida and ISIS.
