A married father of two, 54-year-old Paulo Cuoto from Howell, NJ, died after a winch fell on him while he worked on a sewage system over 100 feet underground.
Emergency Services pronounced Cuoto dead at the scene shortly after officers from the 114th Precinct responded to the incident, which involved a piece of equipment falling.
Authorities are investigating the incident, with the machinery's fall yet to be determined. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will confirm the cause of death.
