McGregor plans to demolish his existing five-bedroom home at The Paddocks and build a 32,693 sq ft six-bedroom family home that includes luxury amenities.
The proposed two-storey over basement home features both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as a cinema, aimed at providing a lavish lifestyle.
In response to council planners expressing concerns about design and scale, McGregor's submission did not reduce the home's size but suggested it would fit well into the site.
The revised photomontages presented by McGregor's submission assert that the new dwelling would not negatively impact surrounding residents, despite council's development plan rules.
