Conceding in last minute 'nearly criminal' - Neil
Briefly

Millwall's head coach Alex Neil expressed frustration after his team surrendered a two-goal lead to draw with Cardiff City, calling their defending "nearly criminal." The match saw Calum Scanlon and Casper De Norre score early for Millwall, but a goal just before half-time by Chris Willock shifted momentum. A late equalizer from substitute Yousef Salech resulted in Millwall extending their winless streak in the Championship to six matches. Neil emphasized the importance of proper game management, especially when holding a lead, and took ownership for the defensive lapses.
"We conceded a goal a minute before half-time and then in the last minute of the game so from our perspective that is nearly criminal," Neil told BBC Radio London.
"Both goals, we don't clear our lines properly, kick it straight to them and within one or two touches the ball ends up in the back of our net."
"When you are tired that's when you need to dig in and be professional and see the game out. When we score two goals and are 2-0 up, we expected to win the game from there."
