Community, Traditions, and Resilience Ring Through New Public Works for Tbilisi Mural Fest
Briefly

This year's Tbilisi Mural Fest introduced over 20 new public artworks across five cities, showcasing the creativity of nearly a dozen artists and celebrating local culture.
The monumental compositions range from two to over a dozen stories high, including a striking 65-meter tall mural that embodies resilience and community through vibrant colors.
Each artwork reflects local traditions, like a mural by Afzan Pirzade showing vintners from Kakheti, and others that intertwine mythical figures and themes of togetherness.
Tina Chertova's mural features a lace-like pattern, beautifully integrating elements of local decorum, including birds and deer, into a large, multistory work that reflects community values.
