China to head green energy boom with 60% of new projects in next six years
Briefly

According to the International Energy Agency, China is projected to account for nearly 60% of all new renewable energy capacity by 2030, illustrating its significant influence in the renewable energy landscape.
Fatih Birol, executive director of the IEA, emphasized the trend of China's renewable energy dominance, stating: "If I could sum this trend up in two words they would be: China, solar." This highlights China's pivotal role in the global shift towards solar energy.
The IEA's report indicates that global renewable energy capacity will grow rapidly, stating that by the end of the decade, solar capacity alone will represent 80% of new renewable energy worldwide.
As policies and declining costs drive investments, the IEA anticipates a significant acceleration in renewable energy projects over the next six years, mainly led by China and India.
