Arias noted that the shifting political dynamics in Syria could allow the OPCW to gain a clearer understanding of the country's chemical weapons program, for which accountability is overdue.
He highlighted the importance of identifying and bringing to justice the perpetrators responsible for the extensive use of chemical weapons during Syria's prolonged conflict.
