Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari reveals 'most difficult and weird' aspect of their marriage
Briefly

Sam Asghari shares insights on his marriage to Britney Spears, particularly the challenges stemming from her conservatorship. He expresses disbelief over the necessity of adult permission from parents in America, emphasizing the emotional turmoil he observed. Supporting Spears during the 'Free Britney' movement defined their relationship, despite it ending after two years. He reflects on the vulnerability of public figures to those around them and acknowledges that even with the difficulties faced, he harbors no regrets about their time together.
One day I start learning about what the conservatorship is, and that's when I was like, 'Wait a minute. I thought I'm in America. What do you mean someone over the age of 18 needs permission from their parents?' Asghari said on Sunday's episode of Kate and Oliver Hudson's 'Sibling Rivalry' podcast.
I think the best thing to do is to provide support in that moment and that's what I did, I provided as much as I could.
One of the hardest things, I think, to deal with when you go into entertainment is your parents and the people around you, and everything that happens, and everybody that comes into your life that's taken advantage - that damages you because those are the people that are closest to you.
They take advantage because they think, you know, you owe something to them or something, which is so ridiculous.
