Brazil's president, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, is expected to leave intensive care after doctors carried out a successful follow-up operation to reduce bleeding risks.
The president underwent emergency surgery to drain a brain haematoma due to a fall. Following that, a procedure was executed to prevent further bleeding.
Lula's cognitive abilities remain intact, and his medical team has stated he is neurologically fit, adequately capable of civil activities.
Despite being neurologically stable, doctors advise him to refrain from work, avoid stress, and limit visitors during hospitalization.
