Bexley boy in desperate need' of powerchair to live typical teenage life'
Briefly

Hayden Player, who has cerebral palsy and relies on a wheelchair, was motivated by personal loss to seek greater independence. Currently a student at Capel Manor, he works on an inaccessible farm where he needs assistance to navigate. His aunt, Nina Powell, has initiated a GoFundMe to finance a much-needed electronic power wheelchair, costing nearly £15,000, which would enhance Hayden's mobility and social interaction, allowing him to connect more freely with peers and live a more typical teenage life.
"Hayden relies on a wheelchair for the whole of his life. My sister passed away two years ago, which spurred him on to gain his own independence."
"The powerchair would help him achieve his dreams as well as help his social life... it would just mean that he can be a typical teenager, have typical teenage conversations."
