"Right now I can tell you, on Monday, January 13th, at 1:20 pm Eastern time: Bellator is dead. Bellator as we know it is no more," he said on his show.
"The PFL season format is no more. What it is now is somewhere in the range of 6-8 weight classes being featured, 8 fighters, 2 alternates, single-elimination tournament," he said.
"No longer will fighters be going for the $1 million prize, which to be fair had fighter purses subtracted, which didn't really make it a million dollar prize."
"Bellator will now go by a new name 'PFL Champions Series' which will have the traditional divisional titles."
