The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) described Okegbola’s behavior as deplorable, highlighting specific instances of sexual comments and assaults against both staff and a vulnerable patient.
Five whistleblowers helped bring forth allegations, revealing that Mr. Okegbola abused his position of power, causing significant distress over a sustained period to multiple colleagues.
One incident confirmed by the NMC involved Okegbola describing a 14-year-old patient in a vile manner, demonstrating a severe ethical breach and posing a risk to vulnerable individuals.
