Bay Area Jewish community marks Hamas attacks anniversary
Briefly

Jewish institutions throughout the Bay Area marked the anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel with services to remember lost lives and those still held captive.
Daphna Bhajayo, attending the event, articulated the pervasive impact of the attacks: 'There is not one family in Israel that did not suffer after Oct. 7 from at least one family member being touched by these horrible, horrific events.'
As a backdrop to the gathering, an exhibit by photojournalist Zia Koren memorialized the attacks, encouraging attendees to reflect on the lost lives and ongoing conflicts.
