A DHL cargo plane crashed outside the Vilnius Airport, killing at least one and injuring three. 'There was a total of four people on board,' a spokesperson reported.
The crash occurred at around 5:30 a.m. local time. 'We can confirm that today at around 4:30 am CET an aircraft of Swift Air, made a forced landing about one kilometer from VNO Airport,' said a DHL spokesperson.
All 12 residents of the house that was crashed into have been evacuated and are safe. The cause of the accident is still unknown, and an investigation is underway.
The status of the crew on board and the cause of the crash remain unclear. 'The status of the crew is still being clarified,' said the DHL spokesperson.
