"I had this idea of a Gustavian color palette," says Reiss, emphasizing her unique take on Swedish decor. "Though it has nothing to do with the house, there is a lot of pink, which might seem kind of yuck."
"The dining table is in the shape of a roast chicken. Here are the drumsticks, that's the tail, the neck, and the wings," Reiss explains about her whimsical design choice for the dining room.
Reiss reflects on her upbringing, stating, "Everyone in my family sounds like Zsa Zsa Gabor," showcasing her family's Hungarian roots and cultural influence on her art.
Reiss mentions her move back to New York after separating from her husband, saying, "When I 'de-married,' I decided to move back to New York," highlighting her longing for a connection to her roots.
