Andy Warhol prints stolen and damaged in amateurish' Dutch gallery heist
Briefly

Thieves blew open the door of a southern Netherlands art gallery, stealing two Warhol prints while damaging two others in what the gallery owner termed an amateurish heist.
The entire building was destroyed with a bomb blast, damaging nearby shops too. The thieves fled with artworks that wouldn't fit in their car and got damaged.
Visser noted the unusual use of explosives, pointing out that it's strange, as it's not common in art thefts. This highlights a shift in criminal methods.
The stolen Warhol prints included portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Margrethe II, while the prints of Queen Beatrix and Queen Mother Tfwala were left damaged on the street.
